Aerodyne Alloys Acquires Southern Nickel and Titanium, LP.

 

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT / MARCH 27, 2008

 

Aerodyne Alloys, has announced its acquisition of Southern Nickel & Titanium, LP., located in Houston Texas. The company specializes in the distribution of Super Alloys (high temperature alloys) such as Alloy A286/660, 6-4 Titanium and other alloy round bar, serving Aerospace, Oilfield, Petrochemical, and Power Generation industries.

Southern Nickel & Titanium, LP., will assume the Aerodyne Alloys name and add-on benefits that go with it such as operational advances, information technology, inventory management, quality assurance, strong mill relationships, talented people, and customer-first thinking. Customers will also have access to expanded services such as heat treating, trepanning and boring.

 

“All customers will benefit from PICM, Proprietary Inventory Control Management, and uniqueness’s such as more bar diameter sizes, and more stock plate thickness which allows purchase of only the weight needed and not buying with waste,” added Jeff Adams, Inside Sales Manager of Aerodyne Alloys.

 

With the acquisition, Aerodyne Alloys now operates facilities in Houston, California and its 62,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility in Connecticut. Aerodyne Alloys supplies Nickel, Cobalt, Titanium and Stainless alloys to Aerospace, Power Generation, Petro Chemical, Defense and Medical industries.
