It’s likely you have heard that Aerodyne Alloys has acquired Southern Nickel & Titanium,
LP. We are pleased to bring together the assets and advantages of both our companies. Southern Nickel is recognized for its competitive spirit, overall excellence and outstanding customer
commitment—a perfect match to our business approach.
Southern Nickel & Titanium, LP., will assume the Aerodyne Alloys name and customers
will benefit from all the advantages that go along with it: operational advances including infor-
mation technology, inventory management, quality assurance, and a robust customer support
system. Proven alloy solutions, strong mill relationships, talented people and customer-first
thinking will enhance practical alloy services and solutions.
I see this as a significant advantage for customers and partners of both companies. By com-
bining our business expertise we can deliver more complete end-to-end services. It’s an exciting
milestone in the industry. We remain dedicated to ongoing initiatives that serve customers bet-
ter, faster and distinctively. The new arrangement will create exciting growth opportunities for
the company, customers, employees and vendors alike.
Aerodyne Alloys is privately owned by O’Neal Steel which is a family owned business; the
largest family owned service center in the country. However, we operate independently and en-
joy the ability to make our own day-to-day decisions quickly and without any bureaucracy. The
entire corporate culture is one of bringing practical solutions to our customers and making it
easy to do business with us.
Both companies are extremely positive about the purchase and are already working to ensure
