Aerodyne Alloys Honored With Achievement In Business Award

South Windsor, CT - Aerodyne Alloys, an industry leader in providing specialty high temperature alloys has been honored with the Achievement in Business Award. The special award was given by both the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce and the Town of South Windsor.

Business expansion is an important goal of the Chamber which strives to increase business health in South Windsor. The Achievement in Business Award is given yearly to a company that has demonstrated significant growth in the South Windsor business community. South Windsor is listed on CNN Money's Best 100 places to live with job growth at 5.24 percent. "With the expansion of our business and our facility, we hope to help the growth rate continue to accelerate," said Greg Chase, President of Aerodyne Alloys.

The company recently expanded its facility space from 45,000 square feet to 62,000 square feet and hired additional employees to support its increased business. Aerodyne Alloys provides Nickel, Cobalt, Titanium, Stainless, Hastelloy® and Inconel® 718/625 in bar, sheet, plate and near net shapes to a broad range of industries such as: Aerospace, Defense, Power Generation, Medical, Petrochemical and MRO. "Our expanded facility helps support our commitment to customers to ship their alloys within 24-hours of the order," added Jeff Adams, Aerodyne Alloys Inside sales Manager. Aerodyne Alloys also operates a fully stocked warehouse in Los Angeles, providing nationwide coverage.

The expanded facility isn't merely about people and equipment; it's about a full scope of customer-first attitude. "The expansion includes new IT systems which are designed to function as business tools that benefit our customers across the world," said Gordon Anderson, Aerodyne's Director of Information Systems.

Aerodyne Alloys is a division of O'Neal Steel, a privately held company, which announced the formation of a new entity specifically focused on aerospace and other high-performance metals markets consisting of five of its independently operated divisions, including Aerodyne Alloys. While continuing to do business individually, the five companies form a new cooperative and synergistic body known as O'Neal-HPMG (High-Performance Metals Group).
