All our suppliers are carefully reviewed to insure their levels of quality. At Aerodyne Alloys we absolutely certify every single pound of metal.
The Aerodyne Alloys Quality Team brings a combined experience of nearly 100 years to the table. What's more, each of our team members brings some unique industry expertise that makes us a well rounded team of professionals totally dedicated to standards and superiority of our processes.
Our Quality Manager has been involved in the quality and compliance field for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical engineering technology and quality engineering with a certified Green Belt Six Sigma, Certified Lean continuous improvement program, (CICC) and SPC Infinity QS.
Our supervisor and technician have a combined experience within the aerospace industry of over 67 years including document control manager, quality and application engineering, test lab metallurgist, warehouse and metals processing. Both hold associate degrees in business, certified (P&W) LCS CLCSRs, certified AS9100C Internal Auditor and Rolls Royce Supplier Approval liaison. Our Quality Manager and Supervisor also bring prior military service training to the work. We benchmark to assure best practices and apply a range of quality management tools such as; cost of quality, root cause analysis, with preventative measures and so on.
Our quality management system assures consistent, repeatable alloys to meet all customer expectations, regulatory requirements and related certifications. We also provide heat lot traceability for every order.
All incoming metal is subjected to analysis with our line of Bruker S1 Tracers™. These wide range elemental analyzers provide a method for direct chemical analysis or material identification (sorting) from materials of various grades. The device is based on energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence technology and uses an X-ray tube as its excitation source.
